Google Maps Multi-Line Inputs

Creates textareas to paste multiline addesses into Google Maps

Websites often display addresses on mutliple lines for easy reading. Attempts to copy and paste into Google Maps results in the second line being lost.

This script replaces the single line inputs with multiple lines to allow for such copying/pasting. Works for search the map and get directions queries.

It does work as of Jan. 2nd 2007. Alternatively you can set the user preference 'editor.singleLine.pasteNewlines' to a value of '2'; this results in newlines being replaced by spaces upon pasting into any input field (also in chrome).

Good idea, but doesn't work now and says Your search for XXX around this map area did not match any locations.

You could comment on this script if you were logged in.
