Project Little Island is a universal commenting system that allows users to engage in threaded discussions on any web page. The system does not require the site to provide anything or even to be aware that the Little Island service exists.

The Little Island Client panel opened on the Firefox product home page.

The Little Island Client is the first implementation of a client application for the service. You can use the client to read comments but to post your own you will need to register for an account.

Use Alt + L to open and close the client panel.

Project Little Island is open source software released under a GPLv3 license.

The client accesses a modified version of Paul Johnston's JavaScript implementation of the RSA Data Security, Inc. MD5 Message Digest Algorithm which is released under a BSD license. Paul Johnston in no way endorses Project Little Island nor is he personally affiliated with the project in any capacity.
