This script is work in progress.
I'll release updates as soon as new features / bugfixes are available and tested, so check regularly.
Also, please provide feedback (bug reports of course, but also what you like / don't like, and any suggestion).

UPDATE: sorry folks, I'm quite busy these days, can't really work on it right now...

CURRENT FEATURES

  • your standard thread auto-updater, also handles deleted posts (I'm aware of no other who does it)
  • one-click noko / sage
  • one-click blank name / blank post
  • configurable wordfilter bypass
  • page cosmetics (tab title, garbage removal, ...)

    • NOTE: some code may not appear to make sense currently, it comes from prototype code that has not been released yet

    KNOWN ISSUES

  • As pointed out by aeosynth (see discussion) there are issues with the 4chan FF Extension.
    USE IN COMBINATION AT YOUR OWN RISK. Yeah, I'm working on it.
    UPDATE: the only workaround I found for now uses waaaay too much CPU, it makes the whole script unusable. So, no solution yet.
  • Under heavy backend server load (502 anyone?), some of the newest posts may be marked as "deleted" then reappear duplicated a few moments later. I'm trying to figure out how to work around that problem efficiently (even though the issue comes from 4chan itself).

  • iframe posting and deleting (so that you never leave the thread) -- prototype code is too buggy for release for now
  • user-customizable predefined sequences of characters that can be inserted in fields (eg. reverse, nbsp etc)
  • auto-post every ... (eg. for auto-bump & auto-sage)
  • post filtering using regexes (auto-hide spam)
  • tooltips when hovering on >> links, for viewing contents of the linked post (or immediately seeing it's an out-of-thread link)
  • somehow highlight saged posts to make them stand out
  • expand images inline
  • background auto click-through ads (you don't want to see ads, moot wants the cash, this should satisfy everyone)
