This script removes Facebook Notes chain letters (for example, "25 Random Things About Me") from your Facebook news feed.
You can add more chain letters to the list of filtered items by editing the list in the source code. Currently, the script only knows about a very limited number of chain letters.
Current limitations:
- If you are tagged in a chain letter, the script does not automatically untag you, nor does it remove the tag from your news feed. It only removes the news story generated by Facebook Notes.
- The list of filtered items is case-sensitive.
- There isn't a nice user interface to edit the list of filtered items.
- The notes are not removed from your main Facebook Notes page at http://www.facebook.com/notes.php
If you know how to get around these limitations and can contribute code snippets to that end, your suggestions are more than welcome.
