Orkut Time
[STALLED] Shows Orkut times and dates in the local timezone and with the user's locale.
[STALLED -- See the comments]
Shows Orkut times and dates in the local timezone and with the user's locale.
*New:* Now it should automagically detect the date/time format.
For now, only Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified) and Korean are not supported. If you know what are the AM/PM markers for these, leave a comment.
*Question:* Do you prefer to see times and dates in the way Orkut shows them or in the computer's locale format? Comment.

Sorry for the long time without updates. I hadn't had much time to fix these problems, and now Orkut seems to show the time correctly on its own. I'll leave the script here for now, in the case someone wants to study it or even create a fork. I'm not going to update this script. |

I think that the date format is too much extensive like "Tuesday, July 11, 2006 - 10:54:00 PM". it takes a lot of space and on my screen it takes two lines when shown on the community profile. I think that date should be smaller like "July 11, 2006 - 22:54:00". As in this case it wud take less space and would be equally informative. displaying the day of the month is useless as one can always refer the calendar. So please update the script. |
