AdSweep uses heuristics to detect ads based on patterns and gets rid of them. It also applies specific rules to specific web sites and it can fix web sites using CSS and Javascript. It supports blacklisting and whitelisting for ad patterns and URLs. It aborts script execution in Opera based on recognizable ad patterns.
