Synopsis
This script adds a button next to the mySpace/Facebook buttons on youtube, which takes you to a webpage that gives you good code for posting/sharing the video on bbcode compliant forums (such as Invision, phpBB and vBulletin).
Preamble
I have a friend who made a web page that, when you enter a youtube URL, it returns a nice, formatted piece of bbcode for posting the clip to a bbcode compliant forum. Unfortunately, many people on our forums ( http://www.pabook.net/forums ) find that too difficult, or just forget. This script does the submission for you, so all you have to do is go to the new window, and do the copy/paste.
This script points to a web page that is privately owned, and not under my control - I take no responsibility for its contents, which may change or disappear at a moments notice. Obviously, if you choose to trust his site, then that is your decision.
Also, I haven't asked his permission to do this. Well, buddy, it IS a publicly posted and hosted page ;)
I may well make a version in the future that does all the bbcode creation within the youtube page itself (it isn't complicated), but at this point, I don't wish to take away from the fact that it was mostly his work, and I'm just making it more convenient to access.

2009/04/18
My buddy who was hosting the page decided to change it and take down the old version. And forgot to tell me. I have no idea how long ago this happened, and thus how long the script has been broken. The new vesion of the Youtube BBCode Button now points to the new version of his BBCode maker. You'll need to update to get this script working again.
2009/04/26 - New Version Released
So it seems that Youtube has decided not to bother with icons with the share links any more. I've now removed the obviously dodgy B icon so that the share link fits in again.

Updated the script to point to the new BBCode making page, and set the form to autosubmit. It works again. YAY!

Removed the B icon to fit in with changes to the Youtube page. This also simplifies the script somewhat.

Realised, that in my tiredness last night, I called this "Facebook..." instead of "Youtube...".
Sorry to anyone who downloaded it for use with Facebook - it's not what I intended. I just happened to be using some of the code from the Facebook buttons. *sigh*
