Another update: This script isn't maintained any more, and currently broken. Jeff & co promised to make this a user setting anyway.
Comments: Now with Flags and Votes borked the previous version of this script, because it introduced a minimum wait period of two seconds between comment requests. This makes loading of comments terribly slow, but it's not much I can do about that afaik. :)
One last thing, if the URI points to an answer, e.g. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/753871/is-th... (the "answer" from the blog post), this script will try to move (the view) to that anwser after all comments are loaded – except when the user "scrolled" the view (e.g. with the scrollbar or the keyboard) before all comments were loaded. The loading time will probably be to long in a question with many answers to wait for this, but I think I can make an small improvement in the next version. (If all comments above the "linked" answer are loaded and the viewport is untouched: move there now (because comments below the linked answer will not disturb the view (i.e. it will not move when the remaining comments loads).) But for now, you can use the following workaround: Ctrl-l and then Enter (i.e. focus the address bar and the press enter, this will move the view to the linked answer).
