I think I may be the commenter on your blog but it was a while ago so I forget... Anyway, since I can't seem to find my comment anywhere I'll repeat it here just for posterity.

At its core the idea for this script is ingenious. Its simple and it improves the BBC website hugely by making the stories much easier to read (frankly, I don't know why BBC themselves don't adopt this as their default page design).

My trouble comes from three things. The "frame" on the right (if that's its name) has its lines "relaxed" along with the main central "frame", which messes gets at times because every link (no matter how long its title is) takes up only one line and it sometimes impinges on the central frame to the point that they are almost the same width!

The second issue is similar. The script also "relaxes" the captions underneath every in-article picture, so for pictures with long captions you end up with an awkward situation where the caption extends significantly beyond the right-most edge of the picture (and therefore "pushes" the picture into the text to its left). The final issue is again very similar... when they take a quote from the article and highlight it in its own special light-grey in-article "frame", this frame becomes as wide as is needed to fit the whole quote on one line. I hope that explains it well enough that you can understand the "wonky" in "wonky results"!! I still like this script, but it would be super awesome if it these issues were fixed up.

While a good idea, wonky results can happen, especially on wide screens.

Does exactly what it says, as opposed to the other useless one I tried first!!!
