Improved Scroogle extends upon the Scroogle search engine, an anonymised and optionally encrypted interface to Google.

The following features are added by the original script:

• Cache links to CoralCache and Google
• Improved aesthetics

The following features were suggested and implemented in the original script, as the result of suggestion or exhibition here:

• History link via the Wayback Machine
• Additional improved aesthetics
• Hassle-free PDF viewing - links to Google View as HTML & PdfMeNot

The following features are unique to Improved Scroogle:

• Slight graphics optimisation
• Improved privacy

At the time of writing, SSL in Firefox does not result does not blank the referer, as claimed. Improved Scroogle's privacy improvement comes from the removal of GET-based features from the original script.

Again, I stress that this is a derivative created to meet my needs. I thank the original author, and hope that my modifications may benefit any interested.
