According to Lifehacker.com and other sites you can get free wifi at some hotspots by using this technique. Some hotspots allow images to go through but not html pages. This script puts a "?.jpg" on all links on a page to make the filter think it's an image. It does not effect your browsing but I would only turn it on at hotspots.
