It would be great if you could make it work in Opera browser. :)

My uploads to glowfoto.com have increased lately, mainly due to it's speed and ease of use. Most of the images that I upload are n.s.f.w. so finding an image hosting site with no-hassle T.O.S. has been a big concern for me, since I post most all of them in a blog. The only problem I am having is the 400 x 400 (px) size limit on it's thumbnails. It would be great if I could find a script for getting the HTML code (

Never mind. I added it to your script myself. It's almost identical to imagehigh.

Can you add support for www.tinypic.com please?

That is possible, but again, there are so many ways such images could be displayed. Couple that with the fact that it might take a long time for the script to process and could take a lot of bandwidth and memory with many images. I consider it beyond the scope of this script, although it is very possible and I understand your reasoning. I might make a separate script for it later, but I just don't have the time now.

Sure...Take a look at this post on my test board...

http://ayhja.name/Uber/viewtopic.php?show=1&p=7...

I am thinking of a way that you could maybe right click on the page, and save the images that the thumbs are linked to, rather than that just the thumbs themselves...

There is an extension called "De-Imageshak" that does this, but for some reason it doesn't work on Imagevenue...But, when you view a post that has Imageshack thumbs with that extension enabled, you can use DownThemAll to save the links...

When you use DTA on that test page, you will get this:

http://i2.tinypic.com/opsryh.jpg

That links are for the phpversion of that page though, and not the direct link to the picture, and thus can't be downloaded...

Your extension maybe could take it a bit further, so that images that are linked in such a case would be displayed the way your extension displays them when you click them, and thus be able to be downloaded without clicking every single pic...

It should be possible, but I don't want to affirm that without knowing exactly what you're talking about. Do you have a specific example?

Wow M8, you work fast...Thanks...

Is there a way that you can make it so the script will work on forum thumbnails, so that you can download the images with DTA or similar downloading utility..? I guess, some sort of prefetching..?

Unfortunately, it is a limitation of GreaseMonkey. The page is first loaded, and then the script runs. What you mention (searching for links) is possible. It would involve requesting the linked page in the background first to find the URL of the actual image. On a page with plenty of these links (an image gallery for example), it could saturate the user's bandwidth and they may not even end up proceeding to the full view of each image. You must also keep in mind that it is possible to create a link in an infinite number of ways with the use of JavaScript.

As far as I know, a separate extension could load just the image without loading the page first. I have no experience creating Firefox extensions, though.

Great script. Great work. I recommend.

My suggestions follow, but they're really for an entirely different script.

For fapomatic.com, Image Host Redirector loads the whole page and then reloads to the image, equivalent to right-clicking "View Image". I'm guessing (without reading any FAQs) this is because GM needs to be on fapomatic.com before it knows to employ the script.

I'm guessing these are ways to skip the "whole fapomatic page" phase:

1) Have a script that looks for possible referring sites (on the Included Pages list) so that it begins handling the link before fapomatic comes up.

2) Make a plug-in that recognizes those links on any page.

Does anyone know of a script or plug-in that skips the "load whole page" step?

Frankly, I haven't seen anyone use anything other than imageshack.us. Feel free to list the ones you'd like to see supported, though.
