Script Summary:
Transform Blip.fm into something Fluid.app worthy. Removes 2nd column, and most margins. Shrinks play controls. Just the basics. |

Works with the Beta (cutting-edge) mode available in Blip.fm settings. Best used with the Last.fm completion functionality disabled, because the screen real estate that feature requires typically exceeds the height of the Fluid window.
Retirement?
As of the 6/8/2008 version, updates to this script are on hiatus. Fluid.app now supports userstyles, and as this script only edits and/or removes elements controlled by CSS, it has become obsolete. In the future, perhaps, I may update this if I see the need for a Javascript fix to the Blip.fm interface, but for now, I am satisfied with a simple userstyle.
Version History
6/8/2008
- Some change on Blip.fm's end had caused textarea to push the whole Blip feature off the screen. That's taken care of now.
5/8/2008
- Removed new "Feedback" tab that hangs off the rightmost margin. This was throwing off the layout.
- Shrunk the search field again. I don't know what caused the change, but the search button was being pushed to the next line, and it was ugly.
1/8/2008
- Added profile pictures back in, because it doesn't look shabby, and it was easier than adding umpteen lines of Javascript to fix the problem of new blips to the live feed showing the pic and initial blips hiding it.
- Added filters back in because they're useful and I had no reason to remove them besides overzealous pruning. Also played with the css for the filters so that they wouldn't bump up against the scrollbar in Fluid.
