Update - 11/13/09 - Script now swaps out favicon with the appropriate fake-favicon for that extra authenticity.
Update - 12/21/08 - Changed array in code so it's much easier to add fake sites. Thank you to avg and Joe Simmons for input.
I always have a ton of tabs open. Some of them have very obvious tab titles of what they are of. Sometimes I'll forget to close them on my second machine and someone will come over and I'll scramble to close the tabs or my browser. I created this script to change the tab title with something else that's less questionable (it randomly chooses 1 of 15 fake tab titles). You can easily add more or change the ones that are in there to meet sites that you are more likely to visit by editing the script. I've put a dot before each fake site name so you can tell the difference between the real and fake named tabs and you won't accidentally click on one while someone is within view. (I've removed this feature due to public demand, see comments.) All you really need to do is add the URL's of the sites you go to that you don't want others to know about in the grease monkey manager and it will do its thing on those sites (Tools | Greasemonkey | Manage User Scripts...). Be sure to use asterisks (http://www.google.com/* instead of just http://google.com). You could also use it at work and change all of the non-work tab titles to tab titles with your company URL or variations of it.
