Rotten Tomatoes movie links to VideoETA
Rotten Tomatoes movie links to VideoETA search or movie page
Version 1.7
Further tweaked movie title comparison to more accurately match movie titles and prevent false positives.Version 1.6
Tweaked movie title comparison to more accurately match movie titles and prevent false positives (showing a VideoETA movie page for a wrong title, rather than showing the search results).Version 1.5
Updated script to prefer similar pre-release titles to similar current releases.Version 1.4
Updated script to auto-update when a new version has been released, using custom code, not the script option listed below.Version 1.3
Fixed non-working scripts for rottentomatoes.com/m/* pages, and added matching support for "pretheatrical" movie types.Version 1.2
All "eta" images now parse the search page on VideoETA for a best match, and auto-load a matching page if found, and just the search page if no good match found. The parse only runs on click, to minimize excessive load on VideoETA's servers. The search is not perfect, but works pretty well. There is no HTML link from the image, but clicking on the image runs the script to search.Version 1.1
Changed VideoETA link from "[v]" to small "eta" image (and the image is hardcoded in base64 so as not to leech bandwidth from anyone). Considering adding the "User Script Updates" functionality (see script here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/2296 ) to script, but will wait till "User Script Updates" supports FireFox 3 without errors.Version 1.01
Updated fix so that links with blank text are not linked (not sure why they are on Rotten Tomatoes, but fixed anyway)Version 1.0
Includes VideoETA link from each link on a Rotten Tomatoes page to a Rotten Tomatoes movie page, although not to subpages (images, trailers, etc) except for the showtimes subpage so that the movies listed in the tables on http://www.rottentomatoes.com/movie/showtimes/ work properly. It does not provide a link from links whose text is only the score (for example, if there is a link "90% Batman Fights Godzilla", the "90%" is a separate link from "Batman Fights Godzilla", so the VideoETA link is only shown on the movie text link. It also does not provide VideoETA links where the RT movie link is an image, making the page a little cleaner|
