Script Summary: Search the Ann Arbor District Library Catalog from Amazon book listings.
The Amazon AADL Linky is derived from the Amazon SPL Linky. It inserts status information from the Ann Arbor District Library catalog into book listings from Amazon.com .
The current script will tell you how many copies are on hold for popular titles.
Some things it won't do:
If the library has one edition of a title, and you're looking at another, it might show "no copies" even though the library has something you can read. (e.g. paperback vs. hardback, or older editions of Moby Dick vs. new shiny ones).
It doesn't tell you how many copies the library owns, so the # of holds isn't a perfect indication of how long you'll have to wait.
It doesn't do anything sensible about movies.
You'll have to click through to figure out which branch holds a copy if it is available.
