Picture Selector 3.3

See it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyt5j7xjjSs

  1. DownThemAll OneClick!-Button. This Add-On is needed to actually download something.
  2. Big close button. It closes the tab and logs the job.
  3. "FlipBox"
  4. Main controls. Tags currently visible.

DownThemAll (DTA) setup

Setting up DTA correctly is extremely important. Otherwise this whole thing makes no sense at all.

  1. Change renaming mask from *name*.*ext* to *text*.ext
  2. Enter "seq-" into Fast Filtering box. Update this if you change file prefix in PictureSelector.
  3. You know that all works properly, if it looks like this.

You set this up once, and from then on you just hit the DTA-OneClick!-Button.

Recommended Add-Ons

General usage

  • Normal way: Start a selection range or open some tabs. On the first one, make your picks. Hit DTA-OneClick!. Hit Close Tab (or [->]-Button). Now the same in the next tab.
  • Faster way: If you don't want to store any meta data for later reference at all, set DTA's renaming mask to something like seq-*num*.*ext*. Now the progression of the counter is in DTA's hands, and you can ignore any logging, queues, jobs and items.

Credits

  • This script is based on Thumbs only gallery browser. It provided me the clean up of pages and assembly of the items. I added item selectability, range browsing, and "logging" and colors. The "portal" mode, which is one of the 3 modes, is totally unmodified. Thank you very much, thumbs!
