ScrabuCheck

Adds a floating dictionary lookup box for the game of Scrabble or Scrabulous

ScrabuCheck allows you to quickly check whether a word is allowable in a game of Scrabble / Scrabulous, just type one or more words in the input box and click Enter. The validity of the words are checked online against the selected dictionary (either TWL or SOWPODS) and the results are displayed in a list below the box.

To check multiple words at once just type them all in the box separated by spaces. Select the dictionary you wish to use by clicking either the 'TWL' or 'SWP' links, and to close the lookup box click the 'X' button. The results of previous lookups remain on the screen for reference, to remove a result from the list just click it with the mouse.

stickiness seems to happen every now and again...
the only way to get out of the stickiness is to refresh.

just installed the script again, just to make sure it installed right... hopefully u'll get it sorted :)

The stickiness happens all the time, as soon as I left click to move the box I cant release it.

Sometimes it stays near the pointer... then some times it floats around else ware moving with the pointer, making it unable to type in the box.

Really - that's odd, seems to work ok for me. If you don't mind, can you tell me which version of Firefox/Greasemonkey you use? Also, does the sticking happen every time or just occasionally? Thanks for the feedback :)

well it was a bit annoying up at the top left.

the drag and drop is a little dodgy, its gets stuck... when you move the thing it stays on your mouse pointer and cant be released with a click or anything.

another little addon, would be a "go" button or a button to make it work... as at this moment in time its all about the enter key.

Sonar - not sure why you thought it should move? 'Floating' just means it sits above the rest of the page - anyway drag-ability is a nice idea, so I've added it in - enjoy.
