Script Summary: A custom client side Dev Tracker for vBulletin forums where this feature is not available.
Version: 0.93
Please make sure you read the instructions included in the top of the source code to know how to make it work!
How it works is pretty simple: given a list of usernames to track, the script will run a search in background (via AJAX) to retrieve each user's latest posts. The results are then displayed all together in the search screen and sorted by posting date.
The script has been tested successfully in vBulletin® Version 3.6.8
Known limitations:
- It wont work well (or not at all) if the forum has search restrictions, like captchas
- If the forum interface language is other than english, the search results will not be ordered correctly by posting date
Use the comments to post any suggestion or bug you'd like me to know.
Hope it's as useful for you as it's for me :)
