CiteULike is a free service to help academics to share, store, and organise the academic papers they are reading. When you see a paper on the web that interests you, you can click one button and have it added to your personal library. CiteULike automatically extracts the citation details, including the abstract and keywords, all the references that are cited by the article, all the other articles that cite this paper, and related articles, so there's no need to type them in yourself. It's even possible to store your own private PDF copy of the article too. It all works from within your web browser. There's no need to install any special software. Entrez PubMed is a searchable database service of the National Library of Medicine that includes over 16 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources, such as links to genes, proteins and nucleotide sequences referenced by the article as well.

NCBI changed the URLs for papers to
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez? ...
from
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez? ...

I've updated the script to handle the new URLs as well as the old ones.

If anyone has any problems with this script, or any questions, please email me at:
