Embedded Video Downloader v0.1 (YouTube,Google,MetaCafe, ect.)
Get direct link for embedded videos from different video sites.
This is my second script for GreaseMonkey. As you can see previously, my script will help you to get the direct link from some of popular video sites such as YouTube, Google, MetaCafe, Yahoo, DailyMotion and more. The most important advantage of the script is that it will show a direct download link (on the top left corner of your FireFox browser) when you ARE IN any supported video sites. It means if you are interested in the video, you can click the download link immediately when you see it, or you can keep surfing another page without any annoyance since the download link just takes a small space on your browser area. Very convenient and useful :)
Below is the screenshot:
I'm still developing this script, so I would expect your comments soon.
Thank you for your visit.

I'm now developing the improved version of this kind of code. The code I'm now using is based on server-side result (you can have a look at the code for more details). Actually, you can download any embedded videos you want since you got the link already when you open your video page. My new script will be client-side and has supported : YouTube, MetaCafe, DailyMotion with possibility of download rate of 100%. |

How about squashing three lines into one line? ____________________example_ YouTube
You don't need the site name - YouTube
So the above example becomes something like [link] ›› Download Link ‹‹ (.flv - Flash Video) |

Whoops - "pushes down the video - at google video" |

I immediately found a problem. Your code pushes down the video window so the controls - play, pause etc - are "behind" the status bar and can't be accessed. The download link works :) |

Screen shot please... This will be the third embedded video script I've tried today - the first two didn't work - and there were no screen shots. A screen shot is always good to show people how your script works. |
