if the quote script does ,not work, then no need to uninstall it and reinstall again
open greasemonkey script manager in your firefox (right click on monkey face>manage user scripts)
now drag the quote script to the top of all the scripts available
if that still does not work, then create another firefox profile and use the quote script
but of course the script stops working due to code change or something else reason, then you need to get a new one :-)
