Bypass firewall restrictions via PHProxy (http://www.whitefyre.com/poxy/)

Many firewalls (mostly at work/school etc.) block certain web sites to increase your productivity. With this little script you can dramatically decrease it :).

This script uses PHProxy software to unlock firewall rules. See comments.

I edited the script to include my phproxy but I still can't get it to work. Any ideas?

Very cool! Despite the handful of bugs (prefs sometimes stop working in the menu or appear in duplicate) it works great on the computers at my school, even behind our dedicated HTTP proxy. I was able to get on to blacklisted domains such as deviantart.com with the clever URL encryption.

Needs wildcard character support for "bad" URLs , though I see this has been noted by the author.

Also note that the script "hides" bad urls only when they are on a page! So you cannot enter a forbidden url directly in location bar, but when you surf the web and notice a 'bad' url in the page content, the script will crypt it to bypass firewall.

I`ve updated the script, so now it has a settings window. Access it via "Tools->User Script Commands->PHProxy settings".

Note that for now proxies and urls to rewrite are hardcoded into the script. Hope you can open the script with your favorite text editor and tune badURLs and proxies for you need. )
