Credit to DASKAjA, who contributed the original version of this script, see http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24312 Minor changes were made to append the web snapshots for tweets with URL links embedded. This script makes use of the websnapr 2.0 service to generate website thumbnails. Although it is a free service, you still need to register on the website before using the snapshot service. Once done, you will get a key via email. Place your key in the following line of the script: var SNAPSHOT_SERVICE_API_KEY = '<YOUR_WEBSNAPR_KEY>'; (Of course, you could choose other snapshot service by customizing the SNAPSHOT_SERVICE_API_URL variable, as long as the service API can take a URL input) Browser to your twitter web page, it should now look similar to this screenshot:
