Script Summary: [Links include number of new comments] [New comments are highlighted] [Info box at the top of your friends page, listing which posts have new comments] ***NOTE: only works on pages using the 'A Sturdy Gesture' theme.***
The main function of this script is to provide an info box at the top of your friends page listing which posts have comments that you haven't read yet (and how many). Posts will only appear in this list if you've actually looked at the comments for that post*, so you won't be notified for posts where you don't care what the comments say.
The comments links are also changed to read 'X unread comments' if you haven't looked at the comments for that post, or 'X comments (Y new)' if you have looked at the comments and there have been more added since. Finally, comments that you haven't read yet will have a red border (I'll probably tweak this a bit when I get a chance to play around with this script on a computer that doesn't have a broken screen).
NOTE: Like my other LJ script, this only works with the 'A Sturdy Gesture' theme (mostly because all the other themes are much more of a pain to manipulate).
