AutoLogin Hotmail

turns firefox autocomplete on for hotmail

Firefox has an autocomplete feature that remembers passwords for many sites. This is useful (although a security risk if anybody else uses your computer).
Hotmail disables autocomplete without asking you. This script disables the disable, leaving the choice up to you.

ok, great script - just had to make a minor modification as to the pages it runs on, but that was simple enough

now I wonder if there's a script to skip the stupid MSN Today page.... might almost (tho not quite) make hotmail worthwhile again, instead of just a junk collector

Hi, I really, really want this script but every time I click "Install this script" it just gives me the source code and doesn't install. Any ideas on how to get it working? Thanks!

i think that you misunderstand the purpose of this script. perhaps "autologin" is not the best way to describe it as it actually just activates firefoxes password remembering (which hotmail disables by default). this script does not submit anything for you.

Why is there such a proliferation of "autologin" scripts? I'm sure yours does a great job of logging into hotmail, but why don't people just install AutoLoginJ and set a limited # of websites they'd like to login via the greasemonkey options. There is no need to have 400 different scripts for every website under the sun...Just my two cents.
