Gmail Signature Float

Moves your signature in Gmail to the top of the message rather than the bottom

This workaround makes the original Gmail Signature Float compatible with the new GreaseMonkey version.

If you change the options at the Settings Page, then you will need to refresh the page for apply the changes.

The 4 options are now functional: "Remove Dashes", "Allow Html", "Signature Before Quoted Messages" and "Exclude Signatures from Replies". But you have to update the page each time you alter some preference.

I am only using the HTML portion of this script...can't speak to any other functions. If would be great if this script was compatible with the new GM.. I dread everytime an updates comes out !

You can easily check if you have the new version: if there is a link called "Older version" on the right top of the page, then it is the new version." Tested on both Intel and PPC, Mac OS X 10.4.11, Firefox 2.0.0.12, Gmail 2.0 Uninstalled the previous version before installing the new one, relaunched Firefox, no luck. Thanks in advance for fixing this...!

I am trying to help my sister, who has a mac use it on her computer. everything is installed, including GM, but nothing looks different in the settings area of gmail or the compose screen. You can easily check if you have the new version: if there is a link called "Older version" on the right top of the page, then it is the new version. Otherwise make sure you have refreshed the page after installing the script. And you also have to uninstall the previous version.
