What is this?

This is a userscript written by me, Opaque (<opaquepink+userscripts@gmail.com>). It was made to put small changes into the search section of the Pokédex from Legendary Pokémon.

Redefined the include rules, will hopefully catch everything now.

Tell me if my dynamic select it wrong or when I missed a page!

What it really does:

Deleting options.

The script will delete the option...

  • ??? from the 'Type' filter. (Basic)
  • Flying and ??? from the 'Type 1' filter. (Advanced)
  • Normal and ??? from the 'Type 2' filter. (Advanced)
  • Monster, Ditto and No eggs from the 'Egg Group 2' filter. (Advanced)

Dynamic selecting.

Second select boxes will only give you options that are available together with your first selection. Doesn't work vice-versa and egg groups/types don't watch each other.

Result filtering.

When 'Type 1' is set to ANY and 'Type 2' is set to some type the search result would show pokémon that didn't have the specified type as second, but as first (and only) type as well. In my opinion this is a wrong behavior.

Searching for ANY / ICE would give 11 pokémon. This includes pokémon like Snorunt that don't have Ice as second, but as first, type. The script will delete these results and will only show those results that actually have the type as second type.

If you want to see the pokémon with Ice as first and second type, try using the basic filter 'Type'.

This feature is since version 2 of the script also implanted for egg group searching, as those results had the same 'problem'. Again, just use the basic filters if you want to search for the type as an overall search.
