0.4 is now available. It fixes the bug reported by ET (thanks!) where the script stopped working after it saw a comment by an unregistered guest, it minimises the annoying jump down the page when you add somebody to the block list, unblocked comments now reappear automatically without the need to reload the page, and you can now rename your button to say "Smite!" or whatever :)

I've just uploaded version 0.3.

It works around the "double injection" greasemonkey bug that puts two buttons on instead of one.

Go to Tools | User Scripts Commands or just select the Edit Troll List link on the top-right of the forum pages for a nice surprise :).

The usual upgrade routine applies - uninstall, visit this page, and reinstall.

Jim, thanks for your fix @ Newshounds. You've liberated any number of sane people from the rantings of sorry idiots by your actions - already I've been able to sidestep several fools' rantings thanks to your script changes - and I know that countless others will benefit from your assistance.

Your efforts are welcome and appreciated. Huzzah, you! - ET

First, Jim - THANK YOU! Your superb work has made Newshounds much more readable for us regular denizens of that fine site.

A few of us have been experiencing a bug which will not allow us to delete any REGISTERED trolls in the O/T Forum...and registration is now a requirement for them to post there.

Any thoughts as to a possible fix? Argos suggested it might be a problem when the troll is a topic-originator or the most-recent poster, but some of us have had the whack-a-troll mechanism fail no matter where in the thread they fall.

Thanks again,
ET
