iFilm Video link (ver. 0.0.2)
Adds link to ASX file above embedded video object. Click "Watch Now!" as usual. Look at the top of the pop-up window for the link "click to watch". Click the link or use "Copy link location" menu in Firefox. Use the link to play the video in your favorite media player. In case of Linux you will need RealAudio codecs (see xine FAQ http://xinehq.de/index.php/faq). This script requires GreaseMonkey extension and Firefox browser
The script adds link to the ASX file (XML file containig link to the media file) at the top of the "Watch Now!" pop-up window. You can copy the link and play it in your favorite media player.
The usage is simple. click the media link "Watch now!" as you always do. browser opens pop-up window. pay attention to the top of the window - white on black "clcik to watch" title. this is the link.
if you use firefox or IE or any other internet browser without Windows Media Player plugin this script is the most convenient way i know to play the videos from the iFilm.com website.
You need three things - Firefox browser, GreaseMonkey extension and this script.
Pay attention that the link is dynamic. iFilm server keeps the links for only limited time (may be 5 or 10 minutes). If you want to publish the link somewhere you need deeper hack that the one provided exposed in the script. one of the ideas is that may be there is a static link in the public domain anyway. or, for example, there is a master key - dl value which always exists.
