Script Summary: Filter-out known recruitment agencies on seek.com.au and seek.co.nz

Version: 5

Thumb

This script is a modification of http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/152075

What it does:

1) It adds a check-box in the "Refine your results" area on the search results page where you can choose if you wish to show or hide blacklisted advertisers.
2) It adds a link next to advertiser name on search results page saying either "block" or "unblock" - if the name is already in your blacklist.
When you block a name it immediately hides all results from that advertiser if "Show Recruiters" is not ticked.
Blocking "Private Advertiser" is not recommended for obvious reasons.
If you accidentally blocked a name - just tick the "ShowRecriuters" check-box and unblock the name.

The blacklist:

The blacklist is stored in the browser's localStorage and persisted indefinitely between sessions.
The script comes with a default blacklist which is loaded if your local storage does not have one already. This way even if you upgrade the script - your personal black list stays intact.

Tested with:

Chrome Version 24.0.1312.57m and Tampermonkey 2.11.3078
FireFox 19.0 + Greasemonkey 1.7.1
