Hey everyone
Just thought I'd point out that this feature is available in both my MySpace Home Rearrangement scripts.
Only with mine it adds a "Hide This Announcement" link that hides that announcement and it will automatically show up once there is a new announcement.

I have two scripts available
Custom MySpace Home (set layout)
Myspace - Customize It! (allows for a fully custom layout)
