Zoho Viewer - online file reader

Script to open documents using the Zoho Viewer online service.

After docufarm.com shut down I searched for a suitable replacement. Since I am running firefox on an Intel mac, that makes opening some files a pain. Having no luck in my search, I wrote this.

I have included the supported files (sans PDF) listed in the Zoho Viewer FAQ.

UPDATE:Since ZOHO doesn't support PDF very well, I have pulled PDFs from this script. Instead you can use this handy firefox extension for PDFmenot.com

Hi to all,
I've just wanted to make you aware that a new Firefox extension is available to help user opening files online: its name is Open IT Online. It supports several type of files (*.doc, *.rtf, *.odt, *.sxw, *.xls, *.csv, *.ods, *.sxc, *.ppt, *.pps, *.odp, *.sxi). It also allows you to choose which online service to use among Zoho Viewer, Google Docs and ThinkFree.
For the moment, this extension is in the Mozilla Update sandbox and hence it needs your good review to be promoted on the public section of the site.

Hi,

I made a couple of modifications to your script and posted them here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/18782 .

(a) Links to Zoho are now shorter '(pdf)' rather than 'Open in Zoho'
(b) '(pdf)' links do not appear in Google for cached and similar pages - i.e. links like http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q...

You could comment on this script if you were logged in.
