Script Summary: Prevents the right arrow key from going to the next song on Pandora
License: GPL version 3; http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html
This script is pretty simple. All it does is prevent the shortcut arrow keys from doing anything while you're playing songs on Pandora.
Why would you want to do that?
I got annoyed with accidentally skipping to the next song when moving between virtual desktops using CTRL+arrow keys. If moving through a screen with Pandora currently open, I'd occassionally be a split second slower with the left hand than right and end up just pressing the arrow key, which skipped to the next song accidentally.
I asked Pandora if they had a way to disable the shortcuts. They said "arrow key is our shortcut". I said, yeah thanks Mr. Obvious, I know that, but you're missing the point. I'm asking if I can disable it. By your response, I'm guessing the answer is no. They said "programmers and visually impaired people use it. But thanks for the suggestion, which we're probably going to ignore." I said, thanks. I don't know why I didn't just write this script in the first place. It took less time than to write those emails.
Anyway, if you have the same issue, this script will save you from the above conversation.
