Continuing development focuses on adding thoughtful, integrated functionality while maintaining a minimal performance footprint. Recently added functionality includes watching videos directly within the front page, and concise, information dense displays for reviews and story streams. Nearly all non feature-length articles can be read in their entirety without leaving the home page. As the nuances of some rare and large page types are explored, the last unexpandable content will become fully available within the front page. Performance increases have been ongoing, with the average processing time per page being reduced nearly ten fold and still seeing improvement.
Automatic updates have been enabled with this release. All following installs will remain up to date without user interaction. One Column Front Page is confirmed to work in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome. Firefox users will first have to install the fantastic Greasemonkey extension.
