Thank you. I always appreciate receiving compliments about scripts I have written, even though this one is based on an idea that is not quite original.

Hello.

Clicking the embedded video plays the video within the page on which it appears. It does not take the user to the YouTube page for the video, unless one has the script for making the embedded video a link to its YouTube page. And this script for taking the user to the YouTube page for the video, which this script is based on, can be found here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/12159

This script is for those who would like to do what can only be done with the video by going to the YouTube page on which it can be found. As I mention on the homepage for the script, it gives the user a choice between viewing the video where it is and going to the YouTube page for the video. One might want to visit the YouTube page for the embedded video for a number of reasons. And some of these reasons are mentioned on this script's homepage, which I suggest you visit to get information about this script.

Is this really necessary? You can already do this by clicking the actual embedded video
