MySpace MSPLinks Translator

Translates msplinks.com links on myspace pages to their original links, so you can see where you're going.

This version also works on AJAX-ified pages, such as video comments on MySpaceTV (no more fake "Tom" spam!)

Also can be configured to show a tooltip instead of changing the actual links. And it now automatically switches links back to msplinks.com as you click on them, to give added security.

Updated (2/27/2008):
Now translates the text of the link! (if it contains an msplinks.com url)
Also will search the page for any stray linkless msplinks.com urls and translate them. This can be disabled if speed is of concern.

Jul 3, 2008 FF3user User	// Set to false if you don't want the link to switch back to msplinks var switch_on_click = true; Can you please explain that function a bit better? What does it mean/do? Can you be more specific? give a example? A specific situation with the option toggled to true vs false? I don't see any difference when hovering/clicking a msplink with that option set to true vs false... Please explain :)

Feb 28, 2008 d1g1tal_ph3r3t User	I discovered that if I copy and pasted the msplinks.com urls from my code to the address bar and pressed enter, this script takes me to the original page and not redirected back to MySpace. I also wanted to let someone know that MySpace disables most of the links related to msplinks.com. I am not sure what this means though.
