Script Summary: Blocks Flash and shows images instead. Originally written for Opera 9.5, it still works like a charm in version 12. Press Ctrl+Shift+F or Ctrl+Alt+F for permanent unblocking on the site.

this is "A.Ruzanov - Flashblock for Opera", originally available from http://my.opera.com/Lex1/blog/flashblock-for-opera-9 but the download link there (the author's personal website, ruzanow.ru) is down.
I decided to upload it here to keep it available as long as it is needed, because sometimes Opera's built-in "on demand plugin"-functionality fails so this script comes handy as it blocks flash in 99.8% of the times
