2007/12/31 - Double Bugfixs. Pointed out by Joe and Jordon below.
2007/12/30 - Tweaked code locations after everything on the homepage changed.
2007/12/06 - Removed bulletin and friend scrolling code, transfered it into the Auto-Update script.
2007/11/29 - Temporary update to deal with the friends feed, also removed the footer. Update "Home Auto-Updates" for the real update dealing with that section.
2007/11/03 - Removed the address book box again (international version)
2007/11/02 - Removed the address book box
2007/10/28 - Got the compatibility working right.
2007/10/27 - Adjusted for compatibility with MySpace Home - Customiz 'it!
2007/10/26 - Bulletin Space now has (view all | mine | post) on top. A hight limit is added to status profile photos. And the script is slightly faster at the cost of some of the error-proofing.
2007/10/24 - Adjusted to match the latest revision of MySpace - Home Auto-Update.
2007/10/22 - Something that really bugged me, Friends and Bulletins now scroll.
2007/10/16 - Added a "view all | mine" link to the "Bulletin Space" module. Posted new screenshot.
2007/10/15 - Added "if" conditionals to deal with myspace randomly dropping sections.
2007/10/05 - Added link to newest friends on "Friend Space" (view all | online | newest)
2007/09/30 - Set the link-back to a dull gray. Upgraded the script to use prototype's ID'ing function.
2007/09/29 - By requests in comments, myspace messages, and emails.... Bulletins have been moved above status updates
2007/09/28 - Altered "blog" button to go to the blog control center. Tweaked include to accept more urls.
2007/09/28 - Added a "Sign Out" link to the top nav on the right side. Fixed to work internationally (well, AU at least) by first replacing a missing "today" div
2007/09/28 - Added "Link Back" (feel free to borrow that for your scripts). Fixed to remove error messages when "Updates" is missing.
2007/09/27 - Day of release

scratch the last comment. its the auto update script thats messed up |
i think myspace is changing things. i have two control panels and one is all jacked up |
this script would be sweeter if it was also compatible with http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/10174
so they can can be movable and arrangeable, along with the 2 its already compatible with |
If you're like me, with too many friends, and don't see the "View All" link under enhanced bulletins anymore, just add the bellow code right after this line,
var view_all2 = document.createElement('a')
view_all2.setAttribute('href', 'http://bulletins.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=bulletin')
view_all2.innerHTML = 'view all'
view_all.parentNode.insertBefore(view_all2, view_all)
view_all.parentNode.insertBefore(document.createTextNode(' | '), view_all)
i was under the impression that myspace did this themselves now.. but okay then
GM_AddStyle('#statusUpdates img { max-width:60px; max-height:60px; }');
I seem to remember code in here restricting the size of the pictures in the friends status section... was that removed, and if so, is there any way I can add it back? Thanks |
all this script really does is move a few modules around and lose the ads.. its separate from auto-update because i didnt want to fully "impose my preferences" upon people all in one script. almost all complaints about this script are due to auto-update needing a random bug fix |
@Joe B I have reinstalled it now for the 9th time. I have tried editing the script (since I know how to so please don't try to imply I know nothing about scripts or coding). The issue is still not fixed. I have also tried removing scripts and updating them all and nothing has worked. |
the reason the height adjusts, is because i didnt like the whitespace IN the box.. so i set a max-height, instead of a height i have 800 friends, so the online list tends to usually be full |
would it be possible to set the friend space area to a fixed size, regardless of whether it's on 'online', 'tops', or 'updates'? when I click back and forth between these, the size shifts all over the place. I don't have a ton of friends, so my online set is usually small or empty, only 8 tops, but the updates go on a ways. could we have a variable in the script to set our standard box size so that it fits our screen?
latest update only moves toms announcements to the right.. |
@bang Ever figure you might have done too much? I haven't edited the code AT ALL, and everything is working fine for me. Just reinstall the script. Otherwise, maybe your computer is the 'fuckin idiot'. And if you still can't figure it out, pick up a book and start learning how to do this stuff yourself, instead of depending on the original creator to come around and cater to every one of your needs. |
@ Joe B. I have tried to fix it and switched the skin and everything and it did not work. Maybe you would have noticed that I have had the issue for a while and I know he has been gone, and I noticed other people have been trying to fix issues. I am not a total fuckin idiot and I have tried to fix it. |
scratch my last comment. everything is working fine. guess there was a glitch in the matrix |
Not dead. Everything looks the same to me. ???? |
script is dead. looks like myspace changed things around |
The fix for the online friends also fixed the bulletin problem for me... try it before complaining. |
@bang If its annoying you so much, then fix it yourself. Or change the freaking theme until there is a fix. Obviously he has many more important things going on at the moment. |
yet my issue still hasn't been addressed. |
Userscripts hasn't been treating my comments well lately. The apple store bit was part of his comment, the end wasn't. |
@^tyrant^ He posted a comment on the Auto-Update script a few days ago.
i'm typing this up in a mall apple store and also, AFAIK, both scripts work perfectly fine, as long as you modify the Auto-Update script. Someone posted the fix in the comments of the script. |
@the real billy sorry, i posted the fix, but forgot to mention that it actually belongs on Home Auto-Update. |
2 months since last update, and myspace keeps changing things |
Stupid me, that gets rid of Tom's announcement. The real thing is:
Sorry about that. |
Okay, new MySpace Mobile module on the homepage. Wanna know how to hide it? Your wish is about to be granted.
Add that somewhere in the script. I don't think it really matters. You're welcome. :) |
