I've been dealing with a very flaky DSL connection, and wanted a way to monitor up- and down-time. This script adds some information to the router's 'Status' web page; and it forces the router to continue to attempt a reconnection even after it's been told that it has been unable to get an IP address.
It might just be mildly interesting to scripters wanting to invoke a function within a page.
