FreeAtMind: This is intentionally as wikEd has features that are used on non-edit pages such as an improved diff view on diff pages or the option to check or disable wikEd from every page. Feel free to use "*&action=edit" if you have a low-performance system or are not interested in these features. I have not experienced problems with the default settings and normal browser use.

A great script but a bad default option:
Please add in "included pages" something diferent from "*" this will run that user script in all pages. I wallways put there "*&action=edit" with that that only run in wikipedia and wikibooks that are my two pages here i need it...

A really great piece of software. Thanks for that. Would recommend it to anyone who is frequently using mediawiki.

This is a syntax highlighting script with no WYSIWYG functionality.
Cacycle should change the description here to reflect that.
The documentation on the wikiEd homepage (at wikipedia) looks far more maintained than this one, so that's your best bet if you like this script.

I have added Wikia Search support. Please post feature requests and bug reports to the wikEd discussion page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Cacycle/....

Beautiful. Fantastic script. I give it a 10/10.
Loads fast.
Clean interface.
Syntax highlighting.
Can't ask for anything else, except for maybe an option to hide Wikipedia's default buttons?
