About

What is there to say about it? It can tell time. Wooo! Magic!

It can't do that. But it does add the dismiss/close button to your video feed and it automatically "deletes" (it only deleted the HTML element) all watched or hidden videos.

Changelog

  • 0.1 (14.1.2012): Initial release
  • 0.2 (16.2.2012): Youtube changed the design, fixed the script
  • 0.2.1/0.2.2 (16.2.2012): Added ALT+1 for watched and ALT+2 for ignored videos (to ignore one, the other or both; in 0.2.2 shift was replaced with alt)
  • 0.3 (25.2.2012): Videos are now removed in a single step (old code is commented out, just in case)
  • 0.3.1 (26.2.2012): Now removed empty page containers (every click on load more is one page added to the list)
  • 0.3.2 (1.3.2012): Youtube changed the design (again! dööh...)

Compatibility

  • Firefox 3.6+
  • Google Chrome 10+
  • Opera 10.5+

The script has been tested in Firefox 9.0.1, Google Chrome 16.0.912.75 m and Opera 11.60 build 1185.

Opera users (for newbies to userscripts)

Side note: if you're using Opera the install button won't work. You'll have to go to: Preferences (CTRL+F11) > Content > JavaScript Options... > User JavaScript folder Create a folder anywhere and copy the path to that box. http://www.opera.com/docs/userjs/using/ (scroll down to Adding User JavaScripts)
