Script Summary: It is now possible to make a folder/tag public with this script in Google Reader
This script add a button on Google reader.
When you click the button it ask you the tag that you want to make public.
If the response is OK your tag is now public.

For install greasemonkey, follow these instructions :
- On Opera, use it as it is (ie, save it somewhere on your computer, point to it in Site preferences / Scripting / User Javascript Folder).
- On Chrome, merely press install on the userscripts site to install it as it is (treated as an extension), or install a greasemonkey (TampereMonkey) extension for Chrome for easier management/editing when you have lots of userscripts.
- On Safari, first install GreaseKit.
- On Firefox install the plugin Greasemonkey. For example this one works fine : http://www.greasespot.net/
