The cityofpaloalto.org site has been lambasted by the residents of Palo Alto. It cost over a quarter of a million dollars, but it isn't very good. This script will remedy some of the usability problems on that site. It increases text sizes, it increases the contrast of the colors, it adds PDF icons next to PDF download links, and it fixes some bugs on various pages (broken links, wrong color coding, and so on).

UPDATE AUGUST 21, 2008: I removed the code that fixes images containing text, because the site owners finally fixed it themselves. Also, I added a feature so that when you view the home page, it shows the date of the upcoming events. You'd think that'd be obvious, wouldn't ya?
