Script Summary: Allows you to control the appearance of rockclimbing.com pages, and adds enhanced features for browsing forums and writing private messages.
Important: If you have a prior version of RC.com Tweak installed, uninstall it before installing this script.
BROWSER REQUIREMENTS
- This script will only run on the Firefox browser, and you must have the Firefox Greasemonkey extension installed.
- If you don't have Firefox, you can download it here.
- After downloading and installing Firefox, you must separately download and install Greasemonkey. You can download it from here.
DOWNLOAD/INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Once you have Firefox and Greasemonkey installed, click here to install the Tweaks script. A dialog box will open. Click the "Install" button.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
This script adds a "Tweaks" link to the navigation bar near the top of rc.com pages. Click the link to bring up a list of tweaks. Select the tweaks you want to apply, and click the "Apply Tweaks" button. You can change the tweaks you want to apply at any time. Your selected tweaks will be remembered from session to session.This script works best in conjunction with ad-blocking software, such as the Firefox extensions Adblock Plus and Adblock Element Hiding Helper, or Privoxy. Among the functions that Tweaks performs, it deletes the deadspace that ad-blocking software leaves behind, leaving more room on the webpage for substantive content. When run in conjunction with good ad-blocking software, Tweaked pages look very clean. So, if you're not already running ad-bolcking software, consider downloading one of the free options above.
