Flickr: Show All Sizes

By Jason Tank Last update Dec 10, 2012 — Installed 28,050 times.

Script Summary: Adds links to every available size of a Flickr image.

Version: 3.0

Thumb Thumb

Adds links to the bottom of any Flickr individual photo page, pointing to the available sizes of the photo. The links are fetched in the background, so an animated 'loading' message will appear until the links are ready.

v3.0 - Sizes larger than 1024 are no longer loaded automatically. If any sizes are available, they will show up beneath a "x More" link, where x is the number of sizes available (between 1 and 3). Click that link and they'll load. There will also be a [+] link that will allow you to load larger images by default, without having to click a "more" link.

I made this change because of the way Flickr handles pageviews. In its current form, it will still tick off two pageviews. When loading larger sizes, it can tick off up to five. This makes user statistic highly inaccurate, and it slows down page loading on slower connections. (And it may also call down Flickr's wrath for page-scraping some day...)

If you don't like it, you can click the [+] link and go back to the old method.
