Script Summary: Skip CNET's ad-ware downloader/installer. Download the actual application that you want!

CNET Download.com now bundles their own installer with many applications. The installer is essentially ad-ware, by default installing a toolbar and changing your home page.

This script "NoBadware" changes Download.com's download links to point to the direct download. Skip the bad installer, and download the actual application that you want!

Please post if you find a bug or if CNET changes things and makes this break.

Summary: Free for personal non-commercial use. Don't take credit for my work, and don't make money out of something I've done for free. Contact me if you want to do something with this script that isn't personal or non-commercial.
This script is free for personal non-commercial use. The source code can be freely modified for your own private non-commercial use (as with any other content on your computer) but can't be re-distributed (unless it meets the requirements in the following sentences). The source code can't be included in other scripts, except for where it would fall under "fair use" such as only using a tiny bit of the code. If this script has broken and is not updated for 3 months since the date it was reported broken, and I don't respond to any PMs on userscripts.org, other people may re-upload the script and continue development with this same licence (or one with similar goals). If you wish to use the source code for any other reason (eg, a "script pack" extension, in your own script, or for commercial use) please contact me and I can give you permission. This is not intended to be a restrictive licence, but is simply here to stop other people from taking credit for my work, or making money out of something that I've done for free.
