Note: "Linkifier Plus" is buggy... I do not recommend to install "Linkifier Plus"... I still prefer this original simple one. 8D

Seems like the script's development was stalled, so I created Linkifier Plus at
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/6128

Supports irc, news, nntp, h**p (mostly for forum downloads), mailto, and about (which doesn't really do anything, but it makes them stand out).

Can you add the (tested) supported URLs on the script description, please?

This script works consistently under Firefox 1.5 on WinXP, but under Firefox 1.5 on Ubuntu AMD64, some sites do not always have plain text links changed. Linkfilter and Livejournal are two examples. I can't find any rhyme or reason for it yet. It does work often enough to be useful, though.

Looks like it works on http, https, ftp, telnet, and ldap URLs. Better than both Linkify and Linkify Plus.
