Unlike your friends, I do notice and mind the trend of making text on some webpages grey instead of black. I struggle to focus when surfing the net due to my illness (M.E.) and anything which lessens eyestrain is very welcome.

p.s. I haven't noticed any problems yet whilst using this script. Seems to do just what it should, with no adverse effects.
