Why this great add-on is so underrated. This is a must have for people who regular IMDb message boards. I ♥ this. Thanks you for creating this script.
Fantastic script. It really does make the IMDb posting experience so much more streamlined. This is a 'must-get' script for users who peruse the IMDb, and especially those who post on IMDb on a frequent enough basis.
Among the most notable features:
+ Inline Reply. It is such a nice feature that IMDb feels odd without it. It enables replies while viewing a thread, which eliminates the need for another tab to open in order to comment. Once you try it, it's difficult to go back.
+ IMDb Boards markup & hotkeys. I know, I know, this is condensed with Inline Reply, but the 'fix unnecessary added space' problem warrants its own space (pun?) here. Often enough, on IMDb, someone will post a link that will not be readable, as is, due to IMDb inserting additional spaces. One method to fix this issue is for the user to manually delete the spaces in the link. With this script, there is no need for that; that problem simply goes away.
+ View mode links. Simple, subtle change, but this greatly improves the manner in which users can see the latest posts in a thread, which results in a faster overall browsing experience.
+ Auto-open Favorites. Saves the need to click except for the first listed Favorite.
+ Nest indentation indicator. Helps in following the course and the different topics that a thread takes.
This is a very welcome script that makes the IMDb browsing experience more palatable. User support is very good too. Overall, it's a tremendously valuable script for IMDb users.
There are a lot of minor tweaks possible with this script, the one that I noticed instantly and love most, is the inline comment replies. It does drive me crazy to reply to a post only to need to go back and see what I'm replied to halfway through typing it.
